goodperson-baddecisions asked: Do you lend out books? I'm learning the hard way that I probably shouldn't, and based on claims from my mom and former AP teacher, it's not a good idea.
I mean, your books rarely come back, but who cares? By the time you want to re-read it, you’ll probably have lost it anyway. Sometimes I just tell people to pass the book I lent them along to someone else. I’ve purchased like three copies of Letter To A Christian nation at this point, hahaha.
I mean, I do like having a huge bookshelf—mine groans under the weight of all the books, but I haven’t read like, 35% of them (MLILFA: My Life Is Looking For Alaska). So it’s not like it’s this trophy case, you know?
